In many of our Wagoneer purchases we discover a deep emotional attachment between the owner and their beloved “Waggy”. Few of our past acquisitions surpass the love and devotion that unfolds in the story of this Final Edition 1991 Hunter Green Grand Wagoneer. The owner purchased the Wagoneer as a 60th birthday present for his wife in 1991, the final year of the Grand Wagoneer’s production. I’m sure we don’t have to remind our fellow Wagoneer enthusiasts that 1991 had the smallest number of Grand Wagoneer’s produced, making them the most rare of model years. Only a tiny number of those were finished in Hunter Green Metallic making them one of the most desirable collector vehicles and as rare as that three legged Buffalo nickel. Throughout the years the devoted couple enjoyed cruising around their Florida destinations and the Wagoneer always drew a crowd of admirers. A lifetime history in the Sunshine State guarantees that this vehicle has never been exposed to harsh winter weather conditions.
With the original owner’s passing this Wagoneer was destined to remain in the family and his daughter became the recipient of the vehicle and continued to add more memories over the next decade. Here is a one family owned Grand Wagoneer, and over nearly 30 years less than 92,000 miles driven -averaging slightly above 3,000 miles per year. Over the last few years the family had discussed parting with their Wagoneer but “letting go” was not in the cards until now. It was beginning to need some refreshing-the paint was showing some fading (the downside of the wonderful Florida sun), the interior needed some attention and normal mechanical maintenance was ever present. With that in mind they reached out to us and we were honored to acquire the Wagoneer and restore it to it’s original splendor. A true single- family owned 1991 Hunter Green Grand Wagoneer that has spent its entire life in Florida and with very low mileage. A collector gem that is destined to become part of the next owners treasured family memories.
The Carfax confirms the one family lifetime ownership (until our purchase), the low miles being original, no accidents ever reported against her, and 29 year Florida registration history.

You might think it is notably off key for a specialist like ourselves to comment that in some ways, these Jeeps were terrible even when they were new, but that is indeed true when we discuss the factory original carburetors that Jeep fitted on these Grands. The Grand Wagoneers were the last American vehicles made with carburetors because by 1991, all other makers had already figured out how troublesome the carburetors were, compared to modern fuel injection. Because of that, we have upgraded and updated this Final Edition with MODERN FUEL INJECTION.
